TYPOCRYPHA is an experimentalTyping JRPG Visual Novel about social and cultural alienation.

A young, naive Spellcaster is sent on their first mission overseas as part of the EVE-IRIS Counter-Demon Force. Wielding the TYPOCRYPHA device, the magic wand of the 21st Century, they are instructed to defeat the demonic forces of the EVIL EYE that plague the world. But, there is a problem...

This is our first public demo, Demonstration I. Version 0.0 was originally produced in 5 months part-time by the UCSC Game Design and Arts Collaboration Club (GDA) for the UCSC Sammy Showcase.

Final Version release date indefinite due to official dissolution of the team at the end of the school year. Any and all feedback is appreciated for support towards the continuation of this project.

Trying to play the Mac version, but the left side is too cut off to get anywhere.

This has been a known issue from this version of the game; it is very buggy due to lack of development time. We have been rebuilding the game during the past year to remedy these technical issues.

Unfortunately, because this demo's Unity project is very difficult to work with and does not reflect the current state of the game, we will not be supporting this build further. However, there will be a new demo in the next month or so with enhanced gameplay & story scenario, so please look forward to it!

We apologize for the inconvience. If you want to progress still, the beginning message to type for access is 'SPHINX OF BLACK QUARTZ JUDGE MY VOW'.

Ah thanks for that, there's no problems once I can get into the menu and change the resolution from the settings.

But this game is amazing! Love the setting, style, storytelling, and SMT influence. And a really unique take on typing combat; never gets boring while still rewarding faster typing speeds. I really hope you're able to complete it one day. This seriously has the potential to be the next VA-11.

A tremendously ambitious and well-executed little game! I could see this getting a lot of mainstream attention if it were completed. Whatever its developers plan to do, I just hope to see more from them!

I love the concept and the whole atmosphere of the game. I look forard to the full release!

You know, when I got my first Magic Wand massager many years ago, I thought it was just for my sore shoulders, tight lower back, my neck…. You know, the parts of your body that are always tense and can use a good massage.

And then it happened. One night, when I had sore upper thighs from doing a really hard run, I had my Magic Wand on my legs. Suddenly, my brain took over my hand as I was using it and my trusty Magic Wand massager wandered over to in between my thighs. OMG. I had NEVER felt anything like that before and before I knew it, my sore thighs were a thing of the past because I wasn’t thinking about them anymore. I was going into orbit with using the Magic Wand massager right there – between my legs! Why didn’t I know that before?!??!?

But I still use it for my shoulders, too. I like to position it against an upright pillow, then put it between the pillow and my neck, then lean back (warning: just be sure not to cover it completely, or it might overheat!). The strong vibrations penetrate my neck muscles as well as any massage that I get and I can control how much pressure I can put against it. I do the same with my back. And my thighs. And between my thighs. You get the picture. I totally LOVE my Magic Wand!
