Is there a microsoft paint like application for mac? Either built in, or for a free download? If I need to pay, it's not worth it, but if there is one, great. Thanks.

It also runs in Chrome, Opera, and Safari, and it has the vast majority of core MS Paint features, with more added in. Compatibility note: This release of Tux Paint is for Intel-based Macs running: OS X Yosemite (10.10), OS X El Capitan (10.11), macOS Sierra (10.12), macOS High Sierra (10.13), macOS Mojave (10.14), macOS Catalina (10.15), & macOS Big Sur (11). Earlier versions of Tux Paint are available, which run on older versions of Mac OS X / OS X / macOS.
