No Man’s Sky’s creator Hello Games, has not released a Mac version, and the game is currently available only for PCs and PS4. Still, even with no Mac support in sight, it would be a shame if there was no way to play this incredible space exploration game on a Mac, especially for owners of an Apple iMac Retina 4K or 5K. My router does indeed give me the MAC address for the device connected on the Sky box's IP address. However, my anti virus software is warning of a duplicate IP address in my network and so I'm trying to confirm that the Sky box has the MAC address I think it has. I guess the next thing is to pull the plug on the box and see what happens. Hi, Trying to install the Sky Go app on Catlina 10.15.4 The installer (1.5.17) downloads and upon opening in turn downloads and appears to installs the app, but when the process completes the installer closes and there is no Sky Go app in the applications folder/launcher. With No Applications active>> Desktop>> GO>> Utilities and look for Activity Monitor. Open Activity Monitor. In top Right of Activity Monitor type signpost_notificationd. In main screen of Activity Monitor you should see signpost_notificationd. Click on that process until it is hi-lited. In Top Left of Activity Monitor look for First Icon that looks like a large X >> that should be Force Quit. Although you try to Force Quit it will not.
If you are successful, quit Activity Monitor and Open Console. Let it run 1 - 2 minutes. If all goes well all those Error messages related to Signpost_notificationd will have ceased ( only until the next reboot )
